Die Bogazici University ist mit ihrer besonderen Lage, direkt am Bosphorus auf der europäischen Seite, und der Architektur im alten amerikanischen Stil, ein beeindruckender Campus. Es gibt sechs Campi, wobei die primären der Nord- und Süd-Campus sind. Der Süd-Campus bietet einen einzigartigen Blick auf den Bosphorus und die umliegende Stadt. Der Nord-Campus verfügt über moderne Laboratorien und ist auf Ingenieurs- und Naturwissenschaften konzentriert. Die Unterrichtssprache ist für die ca. 12.300 Studierenden Englisch und bietet tolle Möglichkeiten für internationale Studierende. Für BME, UT, RES und VT ergeben sich somit einige Möglichkeiten.
In der Nähe liegen zahlreiche schöne Studierendencafes, Bars und günstige Restaurants, wo sich ein großteil des dortigen Studierendenlebens abspielt. Die Tutor*innen des European Student Network (ESN) sind an der Bogazici besonders gut organisiert und bieten zahlreiche kulturelle Exkursionen und Events an.
Istanbul ist eine sehr lebendige Stadt, mit einer beeindruckenden Geschichte, toller Architektur und vielen Freizeitmöglichkeiten. Die gut angebundenen Fähren machen es möglich zwischen Istanbuls Seiten hin und her zu fahren sowie auf umliegende Inseln zu kommen.
